Why real estate first
Because the paperwork was already costing money
Rent collected in cash and noted in a book. A tenant's receipt that only exists as a photo on the agent's phone. A repair reported three times because nobody wrote down the first. Landlords who can't say which units are empty without making calls.
None of that needs new ideas. Just one shared record and clear rules about who can see it. The construction side has the same problem with approvals, and that's what REMIS takes on next.
